Eucalyptus caesia (Gungurru)

Eucalyptus caesia, commonly known as Gungurru, is a highly ornamental Western Australian mallee admired for its smooth reddish bark that sheds in curled flakes, its elegant lance‑shaped foliage, and its distinctive waxy blue‑white buds. In bloom, it produces soft pink flowers with yellow anthers, followed by attractive urn‑shaped fruit. This graceful, multi‑stemmed species typically grows between 2 and 14 metres, making it a standout feature in native and waterwise gardens.
